Cliff & Vest Equity compensation, worked out

Contact

A real address, read by a person.

Email hello@cliffandvest.com. There is no contact form, because a form that quietly goes nowhere is worse than an address.

Corrections come first

If you believe a figure on this site is wrong, that message goes to the top of the queue. Include the page, the inputs you used, the figure you got, and the figure you expected — and, if you have it, the source you are working from. A citation to a Revenue Procedure or a Form 6251 line number makes a correction dramatically faster to act on.

Corrections are made promptly, the golden test case that should have caught the error is added, and the verification date on the affected page is updated. If your report changes a published figure we will say so on the page.

Requesting a calculator

Suggestions for what to build next are genuinely useful, particularly from people who have hit a problem and found nothing adequate. Tell us what decision you were trying to make and what you could not work out. That is more informative than a title.

What we cannot do

We cannot answer questions about your personal tax situation, review your grant documents, tell you whether to exercise, or recommend an accountant. Not reluctance — doing so would be giving tax advice, which is exactly what this site is not. Please see the disclaimer.

For a decision of any real size, a tax professional with equity compensation experience is worth considerably more than their fee.

Press and links

Happy to answer questions about how the site is built and verified — the methodology is the interesting part and we are glad to go deeper on it. We do not accept paid links, sponsored posts, or guest articles, and requests for them will not receive a reply.
